Grand Junction Seventh-day Adventist Church
Our church has had a visible presence in Grand Junction for many years. In addition to the church we have a school (up to 8 grades this year, and up to 10 when there are enough students). Intermountain Adventist Academy is a Christian School where all subjects are taught from a Christian basis. At IAA it is our purpose to prepare young people to be successful in their work, in their families, and to have a walk with Jesus that will prepare them for His soon coming! Just this year we have started the Little Lambs Learning Center, a day school with the latest in program and facilities. This is a growing success and a real asset to the community. Our church is a friendly church, there is always a lot going on – more than any one person can fully take in. Thus you will always have a choice. There is a general pot luck noon dinner on one Sabbath of every month, and other potluck dinners for special occasions. The Adventist church has 166 years of experience in vegetarian cooking – so if you want the best, be sure to come to a potluck dinner some time! Look at the NEWS for announcements of a new Seminar series by Joe Cirigliano starting February 10. For those interested there are copies of Vegan Recipes available on this website. These can be copied and printed: The Vegan Cafe -- 10 pages of excellent vegan recipes. and Vegan Snacks -- 2 pages of helpful suggestions.
